From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff, as many visitors have noted. Customer experiences like those of Elz E and Mandy CC reveal how this establishment leaves a lasting impression. The fresh sashimi rice bowl stands out, while juicy beef skewers and artfully prepared sushi rolls are frequently highlighted as crowd favorites. Not to mention, the wagyu beef sandwich with truffle fries has garnered rave reviews for its tenderness and flavor—a true highlight for any meat lover.

As Mandy CC mentions, the family-friendly vibe allows even the littlest diners to feel at home, making it an ideal spot for casual outings or special celebrations. But the culinary journey doesn’t stop there. The drink menu offers a refreshing array of options, with the matcha and lychee soda coming highly recommended for those seeking a unique taste experience. Just remember the caution of Lily (li li): if you indulge in the mango and matcha drink, keep them separate for the best experience!
While there may be moments of wait time, as noted by many patrons, the quality of food that arrives at your table is well worth it. From the *tamago sando* to the crispy *karage*, every dish is crafted with care and showcases the essence of Japanese culinary traditions. As Joe Dibella expressed, the evening was elevated with a decadent matcha dessert that left a delightful mark.

“ Had a great experience at Tomodachi Cabramatta! The wagyu sando was definitely the highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor, with a nice balance of crispy bread and rich sauce. The egg sando was also enjoyable, with creamy egg salad and marinated eggs that added a unique touch. The sushi rolls were decent, though a bit inconsistent in texture. The fries were well-seasoned and crispy, making for a great side. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice, though the wait times were slightly long. Would definitely come back for the wagyu sando! ”
“ Had brunch here this morning with my wife , was very excited to see the menu and try this restaurant, we weren’t disappointed. Staff were friendly and helpful , food was quick and tasty , we were very happy with the tamago sando and karage , the onigiri was fresh and a decent sized serving, we also had Matcha dessert which was pretty decedent , over all our experience here today was A1 . We will definitely be back next time to try the Ramen and udon ”
“ We had such a lovely experience at Tomodachi! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh sashimi rice bowl, juicy beef skewers, and sushi rolls that were beautifully made and full of flavor. The wagyu beef sandwich with truffle fries was a standout — so tender and satisfying! We also loved the refreshing drinks, especially the matcha and lychee soda. The service was warm and friendly, and the place is very family-friendly too — our toddlers had a great time and felt right at home. The atmosphere is bright and relaxed, perfect for a casual lunch or weekend outing. Highly recommend if you’re after quality Japanese food in a cozy and welcoming setting. We’ll definitely be back! ”
“ We came on a busy Saturday night and were greeted with lovely staff and amazing food. Food was great quality and sashimi was delicious. Only thing was we ordered a can of coke and didn’t get it and we forgot to mention it until we noticed we paid for it on the bill when we had already left. Will be back to try more things on the menu ”
“ AMAZING dessert is good, regular food is good, drinks are good, what more can I say (I can say this; if you get the mango and matcha drink, DO NOT MIX IT!!!! IT TASTES REALLY WEIRD IF YOU MIX IT!!!) (also, if you're going here at like 6-7pm, expect a long line.) ”
